Tube Reccomendation For speed and Balance

The first tube that comes to mind for speed and balence is the Delta Blaster made by West Marine. This tube is in a triangle shape for a reason... for speed.  "The triangular shape make the weight balence for more speed and fun" from the West Marine reccomendation. The Delta Jet is a newer verson of the Delta Blaster with a new design. Another good tube for speed would have to be the Rip 2 and the Slash 2, a "U" shaped tubes to go through the waves more easier for more speed and excitement. With being able to actualy turn where you want to go. This is a great tube, I think for speed and balance.  The following tubes I have talked about would be great for Speed and balance. I will be posting new S. & B. tubes every week.

Tips on how to go fast and not fall off

When going fast on a tube there's really only two things that come to mind, holding on tight and being in a comfertable (spell check) postition. When I tend to go really fast on a tube I grip the handles really tight(NO!!!!!). When going fast you should acctully grip hard but not to hard.  This is because, when your going over 30 mph and hit a wave, your wrist is gong to get hurt if it's not moving when your body is in the air.  When racing and going fast you should always try to keep inside the wake for more control and balance. In races or going just really fast for fun you should always be in a comfortale postion. I lye completly flat on the tube(shouders aren't supporting my body that could injury or just really really hurt after getting big air [trust me]).  These are some tips for going fast and having fun.

Since Matt is the Speed Demon , he'll be writing about what you should focus on when your trying for speed. I'm the tricks man so i'll be telling about what you should focus on when doing tricks.
So to start off, you should always focus on the waves, read the waves. When you see that the waves are lower (not enough to get air) then you should hang on really tight. But when doing tricks you want to loosen up your hands for more mobility.

Warning: This next information may be important if you don't like falling off.

Riding backwards is a new era of tubing. If you ever been tubing or ever seen tubing you no that you face forward while riding. Well, today I am going to tell you a new and funnier way to tube. Tubing Backwards. Many of you are thinking yeah right that's impossible to do that well it is if you don't know what you are doing. Now to tell you. First make sure the spotter or spotters know you are going to ride backwards. Second you have to make sure your tube has 4 handles. If they do grab the second pair with one hand. Then turn your body and then grab the other handle. Once after this you are riding backwards. Now if I were you I would look towards the boat to make sure they dont turn. If it looks like you are going to be going out of the wake get back to going forward because you will flip the tube like that.
